Lol yeah, there are so many! I really like her novels..they are great. I have been sick of reading my "chicklits" too. Gossip Girl books are good, but I like mystery too. :)

I am reading Mirror Mirror right now and I am just not getting it. I'm hoping it's going to get better because I am not understanding what all this fuss is about.

Collapse by Jared Diamond. Fascinating; about "why societies choose to fail or succeed." The Easter Island chapter was so great.

I just finished "Confessions of the ugly stepsister" by the same author! I also don't get the whole hype.

Now back to reading "Enduring Love" by my new favorite author, Ian McEwan.

Finished Kim Wong Keltner's I Want Candy and I don't know what to make of it. It's a bit boring.

It is long and but well worth it. You might be interested in doing a little research on the author and her philosophy - "objectivism" before starting the book. I read it a lifetime ago and am thinking of re=reading it;
Another good Ayn Rand book is "We The Living." It's not nearly as long as the Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged, but it's such a great historical novel about the Bolshevik Revolution, or when Russia because the Soviet Union, back in the 1910's. I think this was Rand's first real novel as she wrote it when she was 25. She said even though it's a novel it's the closest thing to an autobiography that she's ever written.

Nice! I got it for a quarter at the library I liked this one. I tend to be drawn towards the mystery novels. Have you read any James Patterson novels? I'm working through the Women's Murder Club series, but his books in general are really good and suspenseful. More twists and turns than the Grafton books

I recently read 'Anthem' by Ayn Rand. Very interesting take on futuristic times.

Harvesting the Heart-- Jodi Picoult-- it seems like a much slower start than the rest of her books

Just finished Nineteen Minutes by her as well...good book.

I lost a post I was writing so I will just say...'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' by Jonathan Safran Foer. Beautiful, painful, heartbreaking and relevant.
