I'm on a Stephen Ambrose kick right now, reading his WWII books. Now I'm on Band of Brothers.

Finally got around to starting Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger. It's taking a while to get into. And because of that I've already read the ending (!) and now I don't want to finish it.

But I will....

Just started Kurt Vonnegut's "Monkey House".

Loving it, I'll probably check out Slaughterhouse Five and Cat's Cradle after I finish this one.

I don't know why, maybe I'm feeling a little numb lately but I could use a good cry.

Any suggestions for a good tearjerker?

At Risk by Alice Hoffman will do it... very emotional, 11 yr old girl tests positive for HIV and it is the story of her family through her illness.

My brain is not coming up with other titles, although there are others floating in there...
