I'm reading "one fifth avenue" right now. so far it's alright. I find that there are way too many characters and storylines going on. I'm sure everything is going to tie up together, but I got kinda irritated whenever I got to the next chapter and they start talking about someone else.

I read "LONG LOST" by Harlan Coban. I much prefer his stand alone books - much more suspenseful. I have read all of the Marvin Bolitar series and i find what are supposed to be wit and humor not very much so. As for Win, would love to meet him :)

Mine too, recommended by my 22 year old daughter. i went on to read others but found this to be the best. she has a certain style that definitely appeals to my daughter's generation but for the adult characters in the book I find i can also relate. i find her books to follow a certain pattern and style - the plots are interchangeable along with the point she makes, so i have stopped reading her. |

I'm reading Pretty In Plaid by Jen Lancaster......
I've been a HUGE FAN since Bitter........... and comparing Plaid to Bitter and all of the rest of her books - it's just "ok". I mean, it's hilarious, sure... but doesn't have that same *flow* that the rest of the books have. Bitter is still my all time favorite. |

Just started 'The Lady Elizabeth" by Alison Weir. So far I am liking it a lot.

I just finished another Michael Connelly book (these are so good and well-written - its like getting sucked into an action heist-plot-type movie, but better because its longer and more intricate!). Before starting another one, though, I want to read something else to vary it up. I started reading Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld last night -- its one of my favorite books, but its been a while, so I think I'm going to reread it!
