The story line was about teen love and tragedy, I have teens, and therefore it grabbed me in,the ending was a surprise-let me know how you like it.

I'm reading "one fifth avenue" right now. so far it's alright. I find that there are way too many characters and storylines going on. I'm sure everything is going to tie up together, but I got kinda irritated whenever I got to the next chapter and they start talking about someone else.

That's one of Bushnell's books I was eyeing but I got Lipstick Jungle instead.

I read "LONG LOST" by Harlan Coban. I much prefer his stand alone books - much more suspenseful. I have read all of the Marvin Bolitar series and i find what are supposed to be wit and humor not very much so. As for Win, would love to meet him :)

Mine too, recommended by my 22 year old daughter. i went on to read others but found this to be the best. she has a certain style that definitely appeals to my daughter's generation but for the adult characters in the book I find i can also relate. i find her books to follow a certain pattern and style - the plots are interchangeable along with the point she makes, so i have stopped reading her.

I'm reading Pretty In Plaid by Jen Lancaster......

I've been a HUGE FAN since Bitter........... and comparing Plaid to Bitter and all of the rest of her books - it's just "ok". I mean, it's hilarious, sure... but doesn't have that same *flow* that the rest of the books have. Bitter is still my all time favorite.

It took around 12 chapters for me to get into. If it wasn't for my son telling me it would get better, I probably would have given up. It was well worth it.

I just finished another Michael Connelly book (these are so good and well-written - its like getting sucked into an action heist-plot-type movie, but better because its longer and more intricate!). Before starting another one, though, I want to read something else to vary it up. I started reading Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld last night -- its one of my favorite books, but its been a while, so I think I'm going to reread it!
