OOO I just finished Mansfield Park! That was about the least Jane Austen-like book I've ever read of hers. I won't ruin it for you, but I kinda wanted to go back in time and smack her at the end of it.

I don't have time to immerse myself in a novel but I manage alot of reference, cookbooks, guides, interior decorating books. It's easy to go back and forth. Currently:

Peter Reinhart's Whole Grain Breads
National Geographic Journeys of a Lifetime
Healing the New Childhood Epidemics (autism/adhd/asthma/allergies)
Bringing It Home France

I'm reading "The Way of All Flesh" by Samuel Butler. A little hard to get into so far, I'm hoping it will pick up. I love English and American novels from 1880 to about 1920!

Her Last Death by Susanna Sonnenberg
The Monsters of Templeton by Lauren Groff

Re-read Pillars of the Earth in preparation for World Without End, completely lost intersest in WWE because it's so very similar to POTE. Same story, different century, KWIM?

I just finished twilight. I'm in the middle of new moon. My friend read eclipse and says it's the best of the 3 so I am very excited to get to the 3rd one.

I highly recommend the series. It's great!
