The Time Traveler's Wife. I actually haven't started it, yet.
![]() It's been sitting on my nightstand for the past week. I've been so busy searching for a new job, I haven't had a chance to start reading it. But I really want to read it and finish it by this summer, because the movie is coming out this year. It's starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams.

I'm currently re-reading Pillars of the Earth and some older Michael Crichton stuff (Congo, Sphere and the like).
Just read Kite Runner - excellent. and some Rosalind Laker - these are older books written in that historical romancey way, light reading but interesting bits about fashion of the time. Also the Saracen Blade - another book from way back when, but quite interesting. Also starting my favourite fantasy series again (Wheel of Time) - if you like fantasy and haven't read this yet - put it on your list. Next up is the Other Boleyn Girl, Gitana and maybe Mau Mau |

I've been trying to read Dostoevsky's The Idiot for almost a year now... The thing is, I leave it alone for a month or so and I forget who all the characters are! It's really hard picking it up again when you're so completely lost.
![]() Same thing goes for Anna Karenina. |

Pillars of the Earth is next on my list. Rosalind Laker is one of my all time, absolute favorite authors. I LUV historical fiction, especially anything that takes place in France Her best book IMO is To Dance with Kings. For anyone who liked The Other Boleyn Girl, I highly suggest Katherine by Anya Seton. Check out all the amazing reviews on Amazon.com. Just terrific!! Currently reading Annette Vallon. It's about the French Revolution but it takes place in the Loire Valley. I'm enjoying it immensely!! Anyone know of similar books (historical French novels)? |

I'm reading Catch-22 and Farenheit 451 (always wanted to read these).
I just finished 100 Years of Solitude and Kite Runner. Both were great books. |
