^^^ That's a manufacture issue not accidental damage

i know in toronto there are a lot of shops which would repair it, go to apple store and ask them first and if not try looking online, like we have this site http://www.irepair.ca/index.html

a friend of mine just bought glass on ebay and installed it himself, i wouldnt suggest that unless you know what you are doing

Apple will fix it for you, but I doubt thier warranty covers it though. My Bf recently dropped his phone and the bottom half of the screen broke, he brought it in and they gave him a brand new phone. But the guy was super nice...i've always had really good experiences with them.

Not to be rude or anything but if you dropped it and broke it why would you think they would replace it for you? Its a tough break but it happens. They might let you buy the phone at the contract price of $199....that would be the best they would do. Keep us posted. I have a friend who did the same thing and they didnt do a thing for her.

YAY!!!!! The Apple store gave me a brand new Iphone for $99.00!!

I am so happy!! Apple has amazing customer service!

I guess normally it is $200 to replace the phone if you break it within a year. They agreed to do it for $99.00, what great service!

Oh and just for info....it WAS in it's hard plastic case that completely encloses it when it was dropped. I had bought the case thru Apple and they said it was supposed to prevent screen cracking if it was dropped.....I guess it did not work :( And it only dropped less than 3 feet!

Great news!! Over here I suspect they'd charge about $400!!! I'm so nervous about dropping mine

Yeah, warranty only covers manufacture's defect.

Maybe this is a sign that you should get a blackberry! lol

I love my blackberry more than anything. I love it because it's so customizable and you don't have to use Itunes to do every little thing!

Oh no! I so feel for you. I can't live without my iPhone. I hope they help you out with a new one since it's new.
