I just got my mail and found a package from a familiar name! Inside was an adorable notepad in the shape of a handbag with a T on it plus a cute notepad with a magnet on the back with handbags and shoes all down the sides! They are soooo cute!! And a lovely note from one of my all time fav gals, boxermom! Pat, thank you so much for taking the time to send me a 'cheer me up' and thanks to TPF sunshine committee for spreading the sunshine!! I'm thankful that things weren't worse for my son and grateful for friends like you all! You are the best! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Here's a pic of my fabulous cuties!

tl/Teena, I and many here know what it's like to worry about our kids, including the adult ones! How stressful for you! I'm glad the little goodies gave you an extra smile. Tho you are one of the most positive people I've ever met!

I am speechless right now. I got an unexpected package today from Boxermom. I was not expecting sunshine at all, and am so happy. Boxermom sent me some blush, a cute little notepad, some samples from Neiman Marcus and best of all $60 to buy my son a birthday present. This is the most generous and thoughtful thing I have ever received. I'm going to go out and buy him the present he really wanted right now. Thank you so much for making my day and his birthday (which is today!). *hugs*

My house burned down Saturday night and I was given the most beautiful flowers from the Sunshine Committee... It really made my day. I haven't been able to sleep at all since Saturday because I've been so upset. Thank you so much for the flowers. I wish I could take a picture of it, but my camera was burned in the fire. This is the first time I've smiled since Saturday. Thank you so much guys, I really appreciate it so much, I'm getting teary. Thank you so so much.

I recieved a sunshine gift yesterday from the lovely Boxermom Pat for my birthday and because I have been going through a rough time with my gramma being very ill. Thank you so much for you kindness. She gave me 3 magazines which I have already devoured one and will take with me when I visit my gramma. I can flip through them when she is sleeping. Also a notepad with a little handbag on it so cute! Thank you again so much I hope you get an abundance of goodness your way for all that you do for other people.

We have the sweetest gals on TPF! I just got a surprise package which looks like it's from perhaps Canada? It had a package Walkers Shortbread Highlanders inside! OMG! YUM!! And a sweet card wishing my son a quick recovery! I don't know who you are but thank you so much! I love the cookies and am so thankful for knowing that someone's praying for us and sending us warm wishes! You all are the greatest!

ETA: silly me, not Canada! It appears to be from the UK! An international gift! I'm so excited! Again, thanks!

Sina, what a horrible tragedy. Thank goodness you weren't hurt, but I can't imagine losing everything I own. I'm glad the flowers helped a little. Mary always knows just what to do! she's an angel.

To everyone going thru hard times, we've all been there and hope to share a little smile with you. Best wishes to your Gramma, SilverSea; and Jen, thinking of your son ahead of yourself says so much about what a great mom you are.

Teena--I love shortbread! That is practically a pig-out goody for me. Enjoy them!

I've been remiss in posting pics. I received many good wishes for recovery from my back surgery.

The first photo is a set of notecards and a fantastic Sensa pen (the most comfortable to hold!) from maxter. I'm nearly out of notecards and I lost my Sensa pen, so how perfect is this! Thank you so much, Sherry!

Second photo shows several clever and useful gifts from passerby! She finds the neatest things on etsy. There's a card case made from a NC map, a little leather book with handmade paper, a family notebook/album with a pretty cover, and an ingenious matchbox filled with little hand colored affirmations! I'm thrilled with all of them.

maxter and passerby are sterling examples of the very kind people here on tPF. Thank you so much for thinking of me!
