I do get a little teary eyed sometimes, rarely though... main offenders being:

Backstreets - Springsteen (every single time, I should be ashamed. lol)

Look After You - The Fray

When You Were Young - The Killers (to a lesser extent, but still)

Also I really like some Sufjan Stevens for the sad sack prupose, namely "Widows in Paradise" and "To Be Alone with You" and "Upper Penninsula".

He always sounds really melancholy and lonely, but it doesn't go overboard like Bright Eyes can sometimes. As much as I can appreciate Conor Oberst, large doses of him and I lose the will to live. lollll

Coldplay - The Scientist
Sarah McLachlan - Answer
The Killers - Human
Tori Amos - Playboy Mommy

That's all I can think for now, although I'm sure there are a few more.

Sleepwalk by Santo & Johnny. The music is just so haunting.

Darius Rucker - "Won't Be Like This For Long"

It's so so so sweet and sad. I recommend anyone listen to it all the way through uniterrupted at least once. It makes you so aware and appreciative for time.

No song has ever made me cry, it just doesn't work for me like that for some reason, which is weird because songs are able to illicit other emotions in me, but never the waterworks....

Yes, Sufjan Stevens! Me too, I always listen to his songs when I'm really sad. I like Majesty Snowbird a lot too, although that one doesn't always make me cry, it makes me calm. It's such a beautiful song!

Omg yes, that song is so sad! I hate it!!! Everytime I hear it I change the station. Christmas songs are not supposed to be sad!!! LOL

One that gets me EVERY time, and I know I am such a loser for admitting this, is "Best Day" by Taylor Swift. It's not sad, it's just so sweet. Pretty much from the time it starts I have a lump in my throat, but when she gets to the part where she's like "Daddy's smart and you're the prettiest lady in the whole wide world," I lose it. Every time.
