*hmmm people that call out all the time!
*yes the nosy people
*waiting over 5 minutes to get a manager approval(while waiting like 2 or 3 pass by..) its not that hard to walk a few extra steps and swipe your card
*the managers that watch you like a hawk to see if you get any credit apps when they should be doing more important things, like i dont know making sure everyone has what they are needing, helping customers, swiping their card for manager approvals, answering the customer assistance pages, etc...!
*the sales people not ringing their sales and then i get yelled at because of it...
*this girl at my work that never shuts up, and she wonders why when she does the breaks she is an hour and a half behind
*ummm managers thinking that family is less important then work! (surprisingly a lot of them are like that at my work. They think work should come before everything else including family. come on its sears, how is retail more important )
*hmmm the managers ignore all the good work you do and are more concerned about a number on a paper(like according to customers i am a 100% but to my managers im bad at my job because i dont get a million credit applications every month so if i dont get enough in the next 2 months i cant work at my job, though its not my fault people already have one or they dont want to sign up for one, but I DO ASK EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER! )

can you tell i hate my job

I know coughing, sniffing, throat clearing etc. are natural bodily functions, but if the office is so quiet and that, plus the clacking of computer keys, it's really annoying.

Before I got my ipod, I would practically go crazy because that's all I heard my entire shift.

My guess is for flight attendants that they don't know if the passenger has his/her seatbelt on or not and they don't like having to wake the passenger to ask.

But she said underneath the seatbelt. Meaning the passenger is covered up with the blanket and the seatbelt is showing.

Im just a passenger but those things drive me crazy, too, especially getting up and rushing once the plane lands, and then standing in coats sweating cos the door wont open for another 5-10 minutes duh!

(before I get crucified, I understand that a child might cry during a flight, but some parents just ignore it and cant be bothered to calm them down - I had a screaming and crying contest for two hours once and the kids` mums just sat and chatted while the kids drove everyone else around to a nervous breakdown).

And why on earth would you steal safety instruction?

People who make personal calls on their mobile phones in our tiny rest room.

People who are always late to meetings and have to be called to remind them to come.

Spam e-mails with jokes or chain letters from coworkers.

People who come to work sick, spreading their germs everywhere.

Phrases like "think outside of the box."

A certain coworker who cannot be bothered to spell anyone's name correctly.

People who think they don't have to follow the rules.

People who smoke in the building vestibule when it is raining or cold outdoors instead of standing outside of the building (we have a strict no-smoking policy in our buildings).

Cheap toilet paper in the rest room.

I thought the same thing, Caitlin! Maybe it was a typo... I admit that I wear my blanket over my seatbelt!

+ people who clip their nails at their desk (the sound drives me nuts... and I caught one of them doing it over their keyboard - gross!)

+ people who come by for a chat but start at my computer screen or the things I have open at my desk instead of looking at me - and some have made comments about what they see on my screen or desk!!! Uh... did you come over for something?

+ people who send me an email and then immediately walk over to ask me the same question. Sometimes I've been busy focusing on something else and didn't even have a chance to read the email yet.

There's more... I just gotta remember them!

...just saw Janay's post on people who can't spell a name correctly.

I HATE this too. My name is Diana. Not Diane (no offense to Diane's out there)...people at this relatively new job STILL call or email me as Diane! I can't for the love of all things figure it out. It's NOT hard; it's NOT a weird name spelling. And there aren't a boatload of Diane's in our directory to where everyone is used to saying Diane and then I come along and they have to change...oh never mind.
