Pumpkin cheesecake - don't remind me! I'm trying to lose weight!

I LOVE fall. I just moved to a little suburb of Vancouver. Summer has been lovely but lots of stuff I love happens in the fall and spring: ballet, theatre, symphony, etc.

Fall colors look best on me so I love shopping all the new fashions.

Plus I'm joining CFUW (Canadian Federation of University Women) this month after their usual summer break. Can't wait to start hanging out with them - they are so smart and interesting!

I love fall! Our 1 year wedding anniversary is this year, we're hopefully closing on a house on October 23rd but I also get a bit sad b/c I always have to work 1 or 2 holidays.

Going for scenic drive in the mountains, apple picking in the valley, and hiking in the woods!

From last year's trip to the mountains!

That is so beautiful!

I can't wait to wear my fleeces daily, watch college football on the weekends, do some long runs and just enjoy the crisp air!

Well, this Halloween is my first Sabbat as a pagan! So, I am SO EXCITED!

I love Fall.... I have so many plans. Going to go to the cider mill... carving jack-o-lanterns, watching Halloween-themed movies, and of course eating everything and anything with pumpkin in it.

I love fall!!

The shopping is the best and there are great festive holidays. The themes that go along with the holidays are ones I love.

I just wish that here in Cali we felt it a bit more.. but sometimes I like the warm fall too.

Oh my gosh, I love everything about fall.... football has officially started, the weather will start cooling down soon (I live in FL, it doesn't cool down here til November really ), the fall & Halloween decorations are out in stores, and I'm getting married on Halloween (hey Wordbox!! )!! I'm so in love with fall and I am so excited it's almost fully here!!

I miss living in upstate NY where the leaves would change all sorts of beautiful colors, we would go apple picking, and I miss that first snowfall sometime in November. We don't really have much season-wise here in FL but I do love the temperatures of November, December, January, and February!

I love Halloween, the cooler/crisper weather, all the activities fall has to offer, pumpkin lattes, pumpkin pies, start of christmas shopping (which alot of people dread, but i love it:]), scary movies, corn maze, haunted houses, haunted trails, hayrides, leaves changing, Jones' Halloween soda. Just overall the look & smell of Fall!!!

This is the corn maze we go to every year & buy pumpkins & homemade apple butter. Doing the maze in the dark is so entertaining.

I cannot wait for the change of seasons! I plan to take the kids to the pumpkin farm so they can take a hayride and choose a pumpkin. We will buy some apple cider and caramel apples. I can't wait to wear jackets and boots and to buy the kids Hallowe'en costumes!

Sadly, we are having perfect summer weather here in the Midwest. Beautiful sunny skies, highs in the mid to upper 70's. Perfect for summer, but once September comes I want it to get cooler! I'm impatient for autumn to arrive.
