Fall is the beginning of birthday extravaganza for me... both of my sisters, both of my BILs, my dad, my SO, my bff and I all have bdays between the end of September and the beginning of Dec!

Besides the bdays, I'm excited that one of my oldest & dearest friends is getting married in a few weeks (out of state, so a few of us have a girls' weekend/roadtrip planned), school is starting soon & I have a new teaching job, and I'm excited for Fall weather, apple picking, anything pumpkin, Thanksgiving, leaves... I LOVE Fall, so I'm just excited in general! lol

I plan on soaking the Fall up as much as possible! I love fall, the clothes, the colors, the change into winter.

Plus, the Pumpkin Spice Lattes are already back at my Starbucks. I can't wait to have one. It's my official marking of the beginning of autumn.

YES! The pumpkin lattes are amazing at Starbucks!

Also congrats to all of you getting married, such a beautiful time of the year to have a wedding and you should have amazing pictures if you get to do any of them outside.

I love to decorate the house and outside for Fall/Halloween and I've already started to dig out the decorations. We'll take a day in Oct. and go to Gays Mills, WI and get apples, pumpkins, apple donuts, cheese, and other asst. produce. It's a day of eating and fun, not to mention the beauty of the trip up the Mississippi. There are also always a couple of Harvest Celebrations in the area that we like to go to, parades, games, food stands and just fun.

And of course, there's the biggie, Halloween! YAY for Fall!!!!

lol!

We don't get a "Fall" here in Hawaii. The trees stay green and the weather stays warm and balmy.

But what does change is that it tends to get a little windier, temps tend to max out in the mid-80s and the nights get cooler. Also, it might rain more often. But, you do have to live here to be sensitive to the changes.

You know when retail thinks it's fall because the stores start selling winter stuff and walmart starts carrying halloween decorations. lol

Fall = school and tons of projects! Not looking forward to it. It also makes me dread the coming winter. Ugh I hate winter!

But, it's also good scootin' weather. I'll be hopping on the scooter more and more!

I love Autumn!
I plan on cooking and eating pumpkin as much as I can, I have an romantic couples trip planned out for October, I've ordered ceramic Halloween pumpkins (we don't get the big orange ones you guys have in the states here) and I may throw a little party too, we will be moving to another apt or house, and of course we will enjoy the change of the season and I'll snuggle with hubby during the chilly nights!

From last year's trip to the mountains!

I love corn mazes! Not at night though. Most of the ones around my hometown would have someone dressed up w/a fake chainsaw running around them at night. Not the coolest thing.

I'm in love with fall!
I'm can't wait to take walks in the weather, take a trip to the country to get apples, drink warm apple cider, dress for the weather, start wearing tights, not having to wear jackets. I just love this time of the year!

I think Fall is the most beautiful season of the year! I love doing things like lighting cinnamon scented candles throughout my house and opening up all of the windows for the cross breeze on cooler and slightly windy days. I feel like my entire home gets aired out. I also like watching the leaves change colors.

Love all the beautiful autumn pictures! Unfortunately, this fall wont be a very exciting one for me this year. DH is deploying to the desert in the next couple of weeks and will be gone for a while. So, he'll miss Halloween, Thanksgiving, my birthday, and all the wonderful holidays in December. So, my autumn will consist of job searching (the military recently relocated us to a new area) and counting down the days until his return.

Fortunately, I discovered Pumpkin Cheesecake last Christmas! I *LOVE* pumpkin pie and cheesecake so now I'm so excited to try out a recipe of my own! Looks like I'll be drowning my sadness in this yummy desert all fall.

Oh my goodness, the photos are beautiful!!! Here is a photo story of what I plan to do (not all my photos.. google images!)

I am looking forward to sitting on the porch wrapped up in a blanket at night with tea or cocoa, when it is cold but not yet too cold to sit outside.

Watching scary movies for the entire month of October, as well as watching So You Think You Can Dance, Glee, and The Office, lol.

Hopefully going to either the 6 Flags Haunted Hayride, but really hopefully going to Eastern State Penitentiary.

Most of all, I am envisioning this fall as a cozy one where I just embrace the weather and the time. I want to enjoy the fall for what it is and not get wrapped up in work or family stuff... just embrace family and friends, and the beautiful weather. I hope that makes sense... more of a personal 'looking forward to' for fall, but I'm excited about it
