What a fantastic idea for a thread!!!

Dear "H. D.",

I am beyond thrilled that you turned down the job offer! I had to will myself not to smile, laugh or just sigh with pure relief when I found out the joyous news. You are SO wrong on SO many levels for this position and I'm glad you figured that out! Our group would have run you over, like the "bus" that we are, and not looked back. You would have melted under our pressure. Believe me when I say...we're a STRONG group...I know... I was the President!

I'm equally thrilled that the other group won't have you as their boss. They, too, would have run you over. Both of our groups need a strong leader and I know there is someone out there who will be great for both of us! Luckily, you saw the writing on the wall and withdrew. I can at least give you credit for that! It was the smartest thing you've said/done in this whole process!

Dear rude cashier at the grocery store,

I'm sorry you're having a bad day but that doesn't give you the right to take it out on me and my groceries. I really did not appreciate the way you threw around my food like a football. If you really hate your job that much, do the world a favor and don't work a customer service job!

Sincerely,

Dissatisfied customer.

Dear snotty rich rude customer,
Thank you for informing me that you are really 2 sizes smaller than what I measured you for when you wanted to buy some expensive bras and panties. It is so nice to have customers such as you know their size so they can squeeze their fat ass in to our $200.00 bras and $150.00 panties. Then when you are so sure they fit we are very happy to have you come and return them and go on like a crazy person because there must be something defective with these items since they are ripping at the seams and had to shrink in the wash. Thank you for carrying on in the store in front of so many people that the manager finally gives up and you get your money back. It is people like you who make our jobs so enjoyable. It is also nice to have you come back the next week and do the same thing all over.

Your SA , (who has been in the business for 20 years and can tell you size by looking at you.
(My friend wrote this and emailed it to her co workers for a good laugh tonight)

Dear Wanna Be President

So you are letting everyone know about your 2010 elections ambitions already! Its too early, come on!
Anyway, can you please remove all of your billboards on the major streets with your gigantic face and tiny message that says all your projects.
Hey that's your job so you shouldn't really brag about it.
I can't help but smirk when I see my tax deductions thanks to you!

Dear fast food service worker at the drive up window,
Thank you for once again making sure that the order is wrong. It is great to have a few screaming kids in the car and driving off to eat at home and then finding out that something is always missing. I also enjoy knowing that English is your second language and I can't understand a word you say to me but then again you can't understand a word I say since everytime any of my friends or I go to your lovely establishment we are sure to get what we don't order.

Another happy customer.

My dear Hairdresser,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the stunning hair cut and great color job. It is so nice to see that me bringing in very detailed pictures of how I want my hair cut and colored must interfere with your great artistic ability to see something else in these pictures.
I really loved having my trying to grow out hair chopped in short uneven layers and the ho white blond look is perfect for my lifestyle as a mom. I mean hey why would I want you to give me simple carmel highlights when bleach blond all over is so much better. Can't wait to see you, it may be awhile---I have to wait for my hair to grow out before I can do anything with it. I also loved the free shampoo and conditioner you gave me, it works great on straw textured hair.

Your ex client.

Dear Client

Thank you so much for suggesting that I work over the Easter break to make sure that the project stays on track, just forget that I am working seven days a week and taking work home after hours at the moment to prevent the project from falling behind.

It is really heartening that you have lumbered me with your tasks (of which I am not being paid for and were not part of my contract) and that is increasing my load, but rather than thank me for taking on and actioning those tasks I really enjoyed the “talking to” I received because my other tasks are not completed.

So please think of me when you are enjoying your extended break as I slave away on tasks that aren’t even mine to complete.

Yours truly,
Slave.

oh, this could be my therapy.....

dear brother and sister in law,
the world does not revolve around you. you two are not the only humans on earth. it's not all about you. sil, you are a minute pregnant, the moans and groans and stomach holding are *a little* over the top. yes, sarcasm is my defense mechanism. sarcastically, your sister

dear mother,
i wish watching my children once in a while wasn't such a chore for you. would it kill you to act like a grandmother?? my grandmother, your mother, is rolling in her grave!!
some say you can always rely on your family. i say i can always rely on ME. i might as well live in the middle of no-where, far from family, for all the help i get from you all. i get more support from my neighbors. from, your guilt-ridden daughter

Dear consultant

Your job title really fits you because you need to consult others for everything you do. You cost so much but are unable to do anything. I know you are trying so hard and working late, but I'd rather you just go home on time. The more you work, the worse things become.

I feel bad for our team because you are paid much more than them but cannot do their work. Thank you for being the loyal, hardoworking, pleasant employee. Now we cannot fire you and I have to count you as sunk cost. You are taking up a big chunk of money that could go to more deserving people.

Your manager

Dear B*tchy grown woman,

I'm so happy for you that you are 43 yrs old and that you are a grown woman, have been married and raised 4 kids. You're right, by telling me over and over again that your 43 yrs old and grown makes you sound so mature I'm so glad that you feel the need to point this out to me anytime I say something that you don't agree with. We both know that you are quiet a bit older than me and you don't need to keep pointing it out, I hope that you realize by pointing this out to everyone all the time just makes you seem childish and immature.

Sincerely,
Person who is almost 20 yrs younger than you and in a much higher position than you at work
