This happened when I was eating dim sum with my parents a few yrs back. I like to use vinegar in everything, and dimsum restuarants always have it in bottles so I started pouring and noticed that the bottom of the bottle looked kinda dark. I lifted up the bottle to see the bottom and there were, maybe, 6-8 flies dead on the bottom. Looked like theyve been there for a bit...so im guessing the restuarant workers kept pouring in new vinegar without ever emptying it. Which is disgusting.....I never went back there again. I now check all my bottles before using.

One time I was eating a salad I took to go from work and when I was about done I looked down and moved the fork around (searching for chicken lol) and I saw a BIG DEAD FLY. Funny thing is, I was repulsed but still wanted to eat chicken if it was in there.

LOL!!!! OMG, so sorry for laughing at your predicament. But this was so funny, especially the part about preferring the fly.

In college, I lived in a flea-ridden apartment and there were so many fleas, they would jump into my cereal (or soup) bowl. (The fleas were there before we moved in, and our shyster of a landlord never told us....we had to bomb the hell out of the place to get rid of them....ick and double ick).

Yes, my parents live by a lot of horse ranches, and there are always flies in their house. I usually just dump it, get a new glass and then get water.

My family used to grow our own vegetables. One time when I was a kid, I ate some cooked spinach and bit into something crunchy. I spat it out to find I had crunched into a STINKBUG! A big fat purple one!

It felt and tasted gross. Put me off vegetables for a while.
