so to make a long story short, this is making me beyond insane, I hate coming home now, which is horrible in its self, I have this beer drinking ,testosterone filled neighbor, which the police where there at least 5 times over this past summer, for what? I dont really know, all I know is he must have gotten away with warnings, because no one was ever taken away, I cant stand the drunkin drama of his girlfriend running up to me, telling me about god only knows what, and I have even tried to tell her, I am VERY anti social (which am not) so that she will stop running up to my car as soon as I pull in,she still doesn't stop, I think these people are borderline mental, They have to be, So over the weekend came up us moving, I cant even believe I would even think of letting some one "run us out" of our own house, But its to the point where, when my husbands comes home he asked, "So did any thing happen" I am just at my wits end with this, I dont know what to do, we have both tried completely ignoring them , nothing works, I really do think there just off

if you have a home owner's assoc. get in touch with them, im sure they are breaking some sort of requirement. ignore them completely and if they break any laws call the cops on them yourself...
i know what you mean about annoying neighbors, i had some BAD ones!! |

we did move, but not because of them. we had to move to get closer to dh's work. he was driving about 2 hrs +/- a day and that was when gas was crazy expensive. so all in all it has been great. we have wonderful neighbors now :)
GL to you and your dh! :) |

I would not move because of annoying neighbors especially since you like where you live. I would do everything possible to drive THEM out call the police whenever necessary and complain to whatever neighborhood associations you may have!

Don't let them run you off. Just level with her. Tell her that you just don't want to hear anymore about their personal lives. Are there any other neighbors that are annoyed by them? Maybe you guys can band together and come up with something. If you have an HOA, contact them.
Have you tried to just ignore her? When she's talking, just walk away. I know it sounds rude, but she does not seem to take subtle hints. |

Ugghh, they sound crazy. If you've been polite up to this point and the police wont do anything, its time to get rude and tell them how it is. I would either confront her next time she runs up to you and calmly, but firmly tell her to get lost in other words and/or just keep walking away and into your house when she is coming up to you and/or talking. Maybe they will eventually get the hint that you dont want anything to do with them. But, with some people, they never get the polite hints, so its time for more drastic measures. I wouldnt move either until you tried all options.
