So my son is almost 8 years old and is a HUGE KISS fan. Like seriously, dresses up as Gene or Paul every Halloween (and has since he was old enough to make that decision), he knows every lyric to every KISS song and could seriously name the song in like 5 notes or less. He has never seen them live, but has watched every DVD he can get his hands on.

They're coming to the area on November 19th. He wants to go (of course), but I didn't think I'd be able to pull it off with my high medical bills, taking a mandatory paycut at work, etc.

This morning my dbf called and said he made the "corporate decision" and purchased 3 tickets to the concert!!! He said its an early Christmas gift for my son.

So stoked! Just had to share....!!! I have the coolest, bestest dbf EVER (and of course, the coolest son... because he's 7 and already a little rocker)

That is AMAZING!! He is going to love it.Make usre to budget $$$ for a t-shirt/souvenir. When I took my son to a concert recently, that was of great importance!!

P.S I am pretty cheap....but I also took snacks and water in my purse. Saved us from having to wait in line and spend a ton of $$$.

He's definitely going to get a t-shirt... or something!

I'm not going to tell him until the day of so he doesn't drive me nuts for the next 4 weeks LOL

That was my first concert, he's going to have a FABULOUS time!! They do a wonderful stage show.
Word of caution, bring foam earplugs...they are BEYOND loud.
