i definitely wouldn't say anything about it. why put someone down like that, ya know? it would sound really snobby IMO if someone were to comment on something so unimportant...

If she is a good friend to you that is all that should matter... There are so many back stabbing no good friends out there. It is hard to find a real friend. You should not judge her by her fashion sense. It should be how good of a friend she is.

To some people carrying LV is slumming it. If it is not Hermes it is trash.

If all she can afford is Guess... At least she is not spending more then she can afford. GOOD FOR HER!!!! What would be sadder is if she bought what you call a "real" designer and is stuck paying for it for 5 years. That seems to be the norm now. Buy what you can't afford to make yourself look like something you aren't.

Can you (OP) honestly afford all the "real" designer things you buy, without needing to save or pay them off over time??? If you answer yes then you really should not be buying them. Do you have enough savings for at least 6 months of living??? If you answer no then you really should not be buying "real" designer.
