I guess this is kind of similar to the Our Very Own: Purse Secret Pt 1 and Part 2
But....What are your biggest fears? I'll start- I am terrified of growing up and having responsibilities. I'm so scared that I'm going to fail at whatever endeavors I take on. I lie awake at night thinking "omg, im getting closer to growing up and depending upon myself" Im afraid of letting myself down. I may come off as confident, sure of myself- even almost arrogant....but you overcompensate for what you're lacking, right? Almost everyone has set goals or is in the process of setting goals for themselves. I don't because if i don't have any goals, there's no way I can fail to reach them. And i know that by doing so, I have crippled myself. |

A silly one: cockroaches--I'm terrified and I cannot deal with these whatsoever!! Thank goodness I haven't seen one at all since we moved into our new house a year and a half ago. Boric acid all around the entrances/windows really helps!!
A serious one: I'm terrified I will never be able to have kids. I've never actively tried to get pregnant, I have no real reason to think that I will not be able to when DF and I start trying to get pregnant; I am just terrified that I won't be able to. I have nothing against adoption (DF is actually adopted.. as is his sister and his mother!), but I would really love to have a child of my own and I just worry that I won't be able to when it's time. |

Something happening to one of my children would have to be my biggest nightmare. I don't know how/if I could cope.

Agree with HauteMama. Just the thought of something happening to my children leaves me in a cold sweat.

Also silly but -- I am completely terrified of spiders. I can't squish them, can't get near them, and if you put one on me, I'm pretty sure after I finished flipping out I would never speak to you again... ever.
I can't think of a specific, serious one right now. |

A silly fear: I'm terrified of bees and wasps. I literally cannot function when I see one. I will stop what I am doing and distance myself from it. Even seeing pictures of them makes me nervous. I've been stung twice by a bee and I'm not allergic.
A fairly serious fear: I'm scared of deep and dark waters. I have this nightmare where I am in the middle of the ocean (or any dark body of water for that matter) and I can't see what's below me. When I play video games that require me to go under dark murky waters, I get anxious even though it's just a video game. I know this is just a fear of the unknown, and I understand why I'm scared of it -I'm a total control freak. |

#1... ending up alone for the rest of my life. It's hard to admit, but it's true.
#2... Bees. I'm TERRIFIED of them. #3... Needles. I avoid going to the doctor at ALL COSTS. |

Death. Not my own, but my loved ones.
And this may sound crazy but I absolutely dread the inevitable day when my special kitty Laszlo will go to the Rainbow Bridge. He is only 7 and quite healthy but I still think about it sometimes. When I look into his big green eyes and see the love there (and it IS there, I don't care what anyone says, animals feel love just like we do) I simply cannot imagine life without him. |

Yes, I just realized my name is "butterfly" but that's not because of the black butterflies but because of a book I read :-)
