It isn't like you need either. But if you had the choice, would you rather buy jewelry or new/vintage clothes for yourself if they cost roughly the same in price. Then why? Or would you split the cost buy both just cheaper in price?

Depends on the jewelry/clothes. I am all for the equal opportunity purchase!! Whichever is a better deal for the price is the one I would get!

probably jewelry. no matter how much clothes i own, i still favor certain pieces and neglect others, but at least jewelry will last me forever.

Jewellery for me....although depends on the clothes? If they are classics,clothes, otherwise I'd choose jewellery.

Clothes. My bestfriend are people, not diamonds.
Unless the jewelery include a couple of Cartier or rolex watches, then I'm all jewelery.

hmm..I figured more would say clothes than jewelry. Interesting answers. I was thinking about whether or not I would prefer jewelry over clothes and I have to say that I think that jewelry wins everytime. I asked my boyfriend that same question and he doesn't care one way or the other. LOL! I should have known.

Clothes. I'm not a jewelry girl either, besides which, I don't have occasion to wear crazy serious jewelry and barring that jewelry doesn't give you a new look the way new clothes do.

^^ well, you do have a point about clothes giving you a new look that jewelry can't! Would you say vintage clothes give you an old look? Just curious.
