Default interesting revolve experience

I purchased a RM MAM last week during their sale and they sent me a MA which irked me cuz it was mislabeled. So just based on that, you would think they might give me some kind of discount code since it is an item that is no longer available, and that is their usual procedure when something you order is no longer in stock (they usually email like 20% code for next time).

My next issue with them is that they sent me 1K of someone else's order in a huge box addressed to me so I naturally opened the box. It is an inconvenience for me to re-wrap it and drop it off at a post office (the box is too big to leave in a mailbox and it's not something I would just leave out to be picked up) ...basically, it shouldn't be my problem. So I called them to let them know all of this, thinking they would be grateful not only that 1K of their merchandise isn't missing but that I'm willing to send it back to them at my inconvenience. Being nice apparently doesn't pay off.

Based on all of this, you would think that they would at least offer me a code or a discount on a similar bag to be fair. Instead, they were really indifferent about the whole situation and actually threatened to note my account as "fraudulent" if I didn't return the items. After talking to the manager, I hung up with a really bad taste in mouth and I felt very disappointed in their supposedly great CS. I felt like I had been treated very rudely as if I'm some kind of criminal.

Let me emphasize that I don't expect a code for everything but Revolve is KNOWN for their CS that takes responsibility for their mistakes and in situations that inconvenience their customers. I think a code or discount on another similar bag would be fair in this case.

I just had to vent this but what do you all think?

ohhhh jeez...that's terrible! i purchased an RM MAM, too (yellow) and they sent this bag that has light spots all over it. I was soooo disappointed. I also ordered a treesje tote and it too has spots and dirty marks! I couldn't believe it. Next I received a pair of TR that smell terrible (I mean absolutely horrible, like BO or maybe even something worse). Basically EVERYTHING has to go back. I don't know what's going on with them.

hm I just purchased some jeans from them (haven't received them yet) and this makes me kind of wary. I'm sorry to hear about your experience! Are Revolve items/CS typically better than what you guys went through?

That's terrible! I can't believe it. I've ordered from Revolve several times before and have never encountered such poor CS. I found there service lacking the last time I dealt with them (during the May sale) but I thought it was because they were inundated with so many orders and the fact they were moving facilities.

I'd write to the head of the company if I were you. The fact that you sent $1000 worth of merchandise back because of your moral integrity should not get you into trouble, much less labeled as "fraudulent". You could have sold that merchandise for a tidy profit on eBay. Revolve needs to say thanks, not slap you in the face.

the CS manager I spoke to told me I could arrange for USPS pick up for the box that is NOT MINE. I am a busy mom and i really don't have time to be wasting on someone else's mistake. i should've just been like "yeah, i'll leave the box outside my house and YOU arrange for pick up...and it will just sit out there in the elements and can be stolen. It is not my problem!"

Let me just say that I cannot believe the response I got from them. Not only am I really annoyed but someone out there whose credit card was billed 1K should also be really really pissed!!! They just don't care.

I am really sorry that this has happened to you, and I would be mad too. You should not have to spend your time fixing their mistake!
About five years ago, I had a similar situation with Louis Vuitton. They sent me an alma multicoleur that I had not ordered. It was delivered to my house and my daughter, who was 13 at the time, signed for it. I don't even know if her signature was legal for the bag. I was mystified, but thought that someone had ordered it for me as a gift.
A couple of days later I got a Fed Ex notice that I had to pick up another package, this notice was left on my door. So I had to drive out to Fed Ex (not close to me at all) and this time it was a letter saying they had made a mistake and I needed to send the bag back as "the customer who ordered it was waiting for it."
That meant I had to repack it and drive again to Fed Ex. I did send it back of course but never had a word of thanks or acknowledgement. Darn it, sometimes I wish I'd kept that bag.

I am truly shocked. I have shopped with them for a long time now and I have never had anything but awesome experiences.

OMG!!!! I just received a package from them today... and one of my shirts had a small deodorant stain on the inside, had a tiny seam ripped, there was a tiny hole in it, the shirt smelled like perfume, and whoever put the shirt in the clear plastic bag was an idiot and taped a part of the shirt!!

I called them to complain and to see if I could get an exchange, but it was the only one left. They only offered me a 5% discount, which only saved me only some change. I asked if they could honor the special 30% new customer discount, but they would not give in.

I ended up keeping the shirt...I'll just have to bring it to the tailors to get it fixed and then drycleaned. I just really love this shirt too much to part with it. I've been looking everywhere for it, but the last time I saw it was a few months ago at bloomies and not in my size. Oh well....... :-\

What would you ladies have done? Returned it?

Ok...so I guess the sale merchandise is pretty crappy? I ordered a pair of jeans and just got them yesterday...they were the wrong size and it's all out of stock. Fortunately, my mom was able to fit into it. But my mom is very nitpicky and she noticed that the jeans looked worn or at least dirty. These are TR jeans and had white stitchings...well the white stitching on the pocket was grey-ish looking (basically very dirty looking) and when I lifted up the flap of the jeans, the stitching under the flap was white. I was like uhh...ok wtf? I dunno if someone wore it and returned it...altho it doesnt look like it. But what could make the jeans sooo dirty?

I emailed them this morning and first I was told I could only exchange them. When i emailed back that there's nothing in my size the CS Rep said that I could return them, but i'd have to do it within 3 business days (since the merchandise was on sale). Arghh...

I just bought a Juicy leather bowler from there and I'm already kind of annoyed with the fact that I ordered it Wednesday and it didn't even ship out until this afternoon and now after reading these posts I'm getting more worried! Hopefully everything turns out well.
