I agree, they have flushable wet wipes!

Also, my friend's father is a plumber and he confirmed that the worst clogs came from tp, tampons and other girly things, lol.

I accidentally flushed a pad down the toilet once in the middle of the night when I was half asleep. Dad was NOT happy the next day when the toilet wouldn't flush and he fished that thing outta there. Let's just say I wanted to die right then and there

DO not do this. My toilet cracked before from the hot water because my roomate did this. Porcelain that is used to cool water will crack if you pour hot water into it, beleive me, I know !

This could have been very useful about a month ago when we had some sort of clog and my husband and I were running around the house looking for the plunger. We think someone stole it out of our bathroom closet because it was nowhere to be found. I wonder who would do that?

Thanks! This is a good tip, I'll have to remember it but hope I won't have to use it lol.

Dish washing liquid works too - if you're afraid the hot water will cause a leak in your porcelain. We always have some handy and it works most of the time. I think the slippery liquid loosens the toilet paper and soon the clog is cleared.

Be careful if it's a bad clog, like in the line way down and backed up. You might end up with hot water all over your floor. I've had some nasty plumbing problems. They seem to follow me!

Great! I used the hot water trick to unclog my sink; never knew it worked for toilets, too.
