How long do you think a package would take from NY to CA ground shipping UPS?

^^MY bad ladies, i meant NEXT saturday 8/9/2008...not tomorrow! It should be enough time i hope!

I wissshh I could just easily get the shoes anywhere but they are out of my size in all stores in CA!!

redney-i cant believe they leave it at the place until delivery!!! it would save them time if we could pick it up!!

So an update...i just checked UPS.com for my tracking and it hasn't changed status ever since 8/1/08!! it's now 8/5/08! are they just slow on updating or what?

It takes 5 days for me. AND if it arrives earlier, they ALWAYS hold it until the 5th day before delivering at the local UPS station. I just pay for 2 day service.

5 days is pretty much right...I have never gotten a UPS shipment that came before the estimated delivery date

It might still be in travel. Once it arrives at the next station, it will be scanned.

Can you call UPS and ask the CS rep for more tracking info?

OP,

there's no check points. only the beginning and destination. by theory, the package should have arrived at your city today. if it come in tonight after midnight, you'll still be able to get it tomorrow.
now i am just as excited as you are.

sometimes that happen. they dont report the status until its actually arrived at its destination.

^^Exactly. Mine have always been scanned at the starting point and then the actual destination point and then when it leaves for delivery.
