Eid Mubarak to all my TPFers that celebrate !

We will celebrate Eid on Wednesday, following ISNA.

I wish it is a public holiday like in Malaysia..all my close relatives are at my grandmas home breaking fast together on last day of ramadhan. The females get together to wear henna... I am planning to do that with my daughters tomorrow night..

I am homesick*sob**sob*

every community and mosque does it differently according to THEIR moon sighting, not accordoing to Saudi Arabia's. This is supposed to be the correct way of declaring eid, when you see the moon. BUT, its become some what of a 'tradition' for certain communities to follow what Saudi is doing even though THEY never saw a moon, I think thats backwards IMO. I dont think the Pakistani mosque is off, I think they are waiting for their Imam to see the moon and make it official.

I don't think that paki iman is going to sit outside with his mini telescope to see the moon sighting... In America the moon has been sighted.. So eid is Tuesday.. I said they where way off because you cant fast 31 days... 30 is the limit...
