Its been raining so much here in NY, I just thought this may cheer me up!

Ok I will start...
listen to the soft hum of it while laying in bed in the dark, and hearing thunder drift along miles away.

Hello Ladies
Rain brings water, which you can drink.

Aloha!

where's my bag?!
cooler weather and lusher gardens! I've been loving my yard this year, seeing the results of slowly converting to conifers and shrubs over the last several years. Aside from a few days intense humidity here in the northeast US, I've been loving it!

Rainism is a good song.

. . . . Oops, you weren't talking about the singer, were you?

In that case, I agree that rain means cooler weather and soothing sounds.

Rain does cool things down, but sometimes during the summer you get that warm rain that makes you want to run around and play in it.

In the south west of England, where we've had no summer yet - just persistent rain, i'm afraid i can't see too many good things about it.
Over here the (summer) rain we get is accompanied by no sunny interludes, low temps and humidity

+1. We've had no summer here so far, same as last year.
