"True" from Spandau Ballet reminds me of my junior high boyfriend.

"If You Leave" by OMD reminds me of my high school boyfriend.

And, unfortunately, "Ice, Ice, Baby" reminds me of college sorority parties.

I guess I'm really dating myself here.

OMG! Me too!

I feel so old, but 'Baby Got Back' makes me think of my senior year in HS!

Bruce Springsteen's 'Pink Cadillac' reminds me of my parents being happy
Guns'n'Roses 'Paradise City' reminds me of first year in college!

I have many..but the first one that came to mind was;

Hotel California - which is the song I got my username from ('pink champagne on ice...')
It reminds me of my vacation last year to Northern Europe..when I was in Norway one night at the hotel's patio, & people were dancing/singing to this song.

Cool thread. I wasn't even born when these songs came out

Bon Jovi "Livin' on a Prayer"
Irene Cara "What a feeling"
"Summer of 69"

and a fairly new song "Irreplacable" by Beyonce.

She has an amazing voice, doesn't she? Her debut hit 'Black horse and a cherry tree" played endlessly on KFOG but it never got tiresome.

When KT Tunstall's cd came out, they played it over Starbucks's sound system. When I first heard it, I thought it was just too repetetive.

After awhile, when the song came on, I'd be behind the counter singing along, "Whoo oo!"
