I can only look at so many editorial shoots of models jumping in front of grey backgrounds before I start looking elsewhere for fashion content, ya know? I find what's produced on the internet to be more interesting these days, and all the interesting editorials from the big names hit the internet far before they hit newsstands. I don't mean to be grumbly, but I love the magazine format and I hate to see what most of them have turned in to. Some of the international Vogues are fantastic - Paris Vogue and Vogue Italia in particular have some great editorial shoots. I wish American fashion mags would wake up and realize that they're all going to die out if they don't start putting out a more interesting product.
-dies- Tell me about it! I love those two versions! so much better then our american onces with jennifer aniston on them!

I agree with the post above, I'm always excited for elle uK.

I agree 100%! Especially about Plum Skyes and the awful model jumping poses.

Lately I've been loving Marie Claire. Their most recent issue was one of the most interesting magazines I've ever read. I love how they combine superficial things like fashion and beauty with important - but really intriguing - worldly issues.

Edit: The only downside to the issue was the Drew Barrymore/Ellen Page interview, which was super-boring and filled with expletives.

I'll have to check all of these out -- still trying to find a home
I love Lucky and InStyle; I get them for free via that GoldRewards thing.
I want to see Harper's Bazaar next time I go to the bookshop!

I dunno -- I've tried to get into W, but I find some of the pictorial layouts a little disturbing. Like the one that Bruce Willis did with his wife not too long ago - what was THAT all about?
I ended up w/a free subscription to it, but it's probably the mag I spend the least amount of time looking through

I used to get In Style but went off it after a few years and also felt their Best Beauty Buys supplement that came out once a year was getting very predictable, and I didn't agree with a lot of their choices!

I like Harpers Bazaar though.

I like InStyle the best. I love the way it lays out the clothes on the pages into outfits- I have a hard time looking at fashion on models in every spread. I love their beauty and home sections too. I also get People StyleWatch, but wish it was more than just pictures. I read the Sept issue in about ten minutes!
