I was robbed yesterday and today I am re-evaluating the way I need to be prepared. I hope it never happens again, but I want to be ready.
Looking at the video footage, it is clear that I shouldn't have a firearm because my first inclination would be to shoot first. I will keep my keys out so I can run out and lock the perp in. Have my cellphone out and ready. Until now, I kept both in my purse. We are looking at the C2 taser because it shoots the probes from 15 feet away and has a 30 second cycle. We timed it and from any part of the shop, that gives me time to shoot and lock the door without running. I would of course run. It can be used once with the probe (new cartridge each time), but can be used as a contact stunner if necessary as long as there is battery charge. Thoughts, experiences, reviews would be welcome! TIA! |

I don't have anything to add about the Taser but I wanted to say I'm sorry that you were robbed but very glad you're ok. I think a Taser is a great idea! DH mentioned wanting to get one for me so I'm looking forward to hearing reviews.
