I Have a Snuggie!! They are amazing, but..... they dont tell you they can produce some shock! me and my bf shock each other all the time lol

My 8 year old hardly ever watches the telly, but his dad is more lenient than I am in that regard, and I was gone last weekend. So my son saw the ad and is just fixated on the idea that he NEEDS a Snuggie! Ah, the power of the commercial...

The commercial cracks me up so much! I am simultaneously fascinated and horrified by the commercial for the Snuggie, because those people look so comfortable and look like wacko cult members at the same time. Now if we're talking about the Shamwow, I'm thinking I've got to get that...

They're not bulky or cumbersome at all.. they're very lightweight and snuggly, but VERY warm. Your butt doesn't get cold, because you put it over yourself when you're laying down (like a normal blanket, but warmer because of the sleeves). Also, it's wide enough that you can completely wrap it around yourself before you lay down. When my siblings & I are at my mom's house we fight over who gets to wear the Snuggie! lol

btw the shipping and handling was like $15!!! What a rip off

The people seem so mad and can't do anything if they have a blanket on and act like this..

i read a lot of reviews on this and i heard a lot of negatives. i heard their customer service is a joke, a lady i read waited on the phone for 90 minutes and then hung up because it just ended up being a robot telling her to call another number. i heard they trick you because you buy one and get one free, but when u go to order u pick two colors, ends up that the second color you chose is for a second set?? the "free" snuggie from what ive read on some people's reviews, is whatever color you chose for the first snuggie?? i also heard of some over charging and never getting it taken off the credit card, etc.

too much drama for me to try, might not be worth the drama in the end. i shall stick to my old blankies.

p.s. when i first saw the commercial i thought it reminded me (although not white and lacking a hood) of the KKK robes.

My fiance keeps threatening to buy me one of these goofy things...

We'll be snuggled up in a blankie and watching a movie, then I have to reach for something and he says "Now if only you had a Snuggie!"

My birthday is on Wednesday and I am so concerned that that is what he bought me - he keeps threatening me with it. LOL!!

Realistically, it's just a big fleece robe turned backwards!

LMAO My DH keeps threatening to buy me one too, cause I'm always cold!

I always crack up at the scene where the whole family is at the baseball game in snuggies. You can tell they told the extras around them to act extra cold!
