I think it is very innapropriate. She looks like a teenage girl and she's so young. It's wrong they don't need to look sexy or cute at that age they just need something to swim in and play in. It looks like one wrong move and the friggin thing is going to fall off.

A bikini isn't worn for practical reasons; it is worn as a fashion statement. I just wish girls so young were not used or sucked into the fashion aspect of things and were allowed to be children in comfortable, practical swimsuits.
I agree with this. I see little girls in bikini's and the tops are always getting pulled up from them playing in the water. It always makes me think "why bother?" why not just put her in something that is practical and that she can freely move around in.

As for the picture... it reminds me of when Ambercrombie tried to sell thongs to little girls. Just strange IMO.

My daughter wears very modest bikinis (Lands End) For the very reason, it is just easier for her to use the restroom.

But this crosses the line for so many reasons, and puts her in a position of being an object. She is just a little girl, let her be innocent. Don't encourage others to look at her in a sexual way by putting her in such a provacative suit.

Hmmm...I am so surprised that there are no age limits for runways...there are weight limits in some locations...wow.

Its inappropriate and I would not allow my girls to wear something like that. The cut is too adult, there are plenty of two piece bathing suits for little girls that are not so skimpy. If she were on the catwalk in somthing that looked like a teddy would that be ok? No, so in the same sense its not ok for her to be on the catwalk in such an adult like bikini

Yesterday we went to get ice cream. As we were standing in line outside, here comes this man with [what I assumed to be] his three young daughters...in the range of maybe three to about ten. All three of them had on two-piece bikini swimsuits. In public. It wasn't a big deal to me as I try not to pay too much attention to children, but these were flailing all over the place, talking loud, running around, and bumping into people (basically drawing attention to themselves). The ice cream parlor didn't have many customers yesterday, but that's beside the point. Nobody wanted to see that dude's scantily clad children. It was quite repulsive, and he should have put shorts and a tshirt on them before subjecting them to the public. But you know, anyone can have children...

The bikini is just too mature and a little sexual for someone her age. She's a kid. She doesn't even have boobs to fill out the top. She should be acting and dressing her age.

OMG I think I am going to be

How could anyone allow their child to look like that. Let alone how allow their child to be objectified and scruntized on a runway. That horrifying.

I have to say that it's wrong to send a child down the runway period, let alone in a skimpy bikini like that. What are they teaching her by saying, "this is what women should wear and look like" YUCK.

If her mom is okay with her wearing it, then what does it matter what anyone else says?
