Default Camel color too light for fall?

I have a very pretty patent leather, camel-colored tote bag.

It looks great with jeans or a suit, but it camel colored, so it's quite light.

Do you think it's still okay to use throughout the fall/winter? Or do most of you only use camel for spring/summer?

Thanks for your thoughts on this!

I think it's ok. The only strictly off-limits colors for me are pastels and bright colors (jewel tones are OK), and this applies to all clothing/accessories past Labor Day. I'm even all for the "winter white" handbag!
