Bear with me-this is the first wedding I'll be attending as an "adult" (and not just the daughter of my parents) and I've never had to purchase a wedding gift before.
The couple have a wedding registry, and I am supposed to go to the shower in a couple of weeks. Can I purchase a gift for the shower off the registry list? Or am I supposed to think of something on my own?
