Default Bridesmaid Gift Help Needed
Hello ladies- I need some help on bridesmaid gifts. I did a search and have not seen this question asked in a while so with the changing styles I would love a little feedback.

I am getting married at the end of the summer and have 7 ladies I need to buy gifts for. As of right now I have picked up a great pair or Nardi earrings that they are going to wear on my wedding day. I am also paying for their manicures and pedicures (not expensive in NYC) and my mom is treating them to their hair the day of the wedding and I am picking up their makeup.

These girls spent a lot of money on my dresses and throwing my shower and my bachlorette party. So in addition to the earrings I would like to pick up another gift for them. My bridesmaids are a little older and some of them are already moms and have been in a ton of weddings. I don’t want to go the Tiffany or Coach route as it’s a little overdone (no offense) to some of my bridesmaids. I am trying to come up with something a little unique. I love the Links of London –sweetie bracelet but don’t know if I can splurge the $200 a piece for them. Two of the girls have a ton of real jewelry and can buy themselves pretty much anything they want so I feel funny getting them knock off jewelry but the other girls would be thrilled with anything.

I would love to keep in the $100-$150 range but am not sure what to get!

Does anyone have any new cute ideas for me! Thanks so much!

Well, I was just super thrilled when my step-daughter presented me with a great sterling silver charm bracelet with a heart on it with my initial. She gave all of her bridesmaids a sterling cuff bracelet. They were simple, wide, and gorgeous. I don't know where she got them, but I can guess that it wasn't Tiffany's, but they all loved them and continued to wear them.

my cousin did cute gift bags for all of us in her wedding. She bought tote bags (they were photo totes so she personalized them all with pictures of us and her together) filled with all sorts of goodies, a pair of earrings, one earring and necklace set, some body lotion gift set, and a few other things. i think i was the oldest of her bridesmaids so it was for a younger crowd but I thought the tote was great, i used it a lot to take stuff to work.

maybe you could find them a nice necklace? or a gift card to a spa?

Thanks for the ideas... keep them coming. A gift card to the spa would be a good idea. I could choose spas by each of their homes. Usually you can't go wrong with some sort of cute Jcrew tote bag but the wedding is the end of August so summer is over and the fall stuff is not in yet.

I know you said you prefer not to go down the Coach our Tiffany's route as it's a little overdone, but I was at the Coach outlet the other day and saw these really cute wristlest in all different colors, like pastel pinks, white, lots of pretty colors that can match most wedding theme colors. I thought it would be really nice if when I get married, to get a wristlet for my each future bridesmaids and stuff them with a pretty jewelry piece, a gift certificate, etc. (Because I know us ladies, sometimes it's also all about the pretty packaging and seeing what's inside.) At the outlet, I think the wristlets were going for like $39, plus some additional 10% or 20% off. And I figure, every woman can use a wristlet. I have quite a few of them, and I always find uses for them.

A friend got married almost 2 years ago, and she got totes with lots of goodies for each of her bridesmaids and had their name monogrammed on the bag. I thought that was a really nice and personal touch.

People tend to either love them or hate them, so idk, but maybe you could start a Pandora charm bracelet for each of them? For a silver starter bracelet and 1 or 2 charms, it would be around $100.

I got one as a gift and I love it btw.

Pearls? Is the budget of $100-$150 total or each? You could easily call up Pearl Paradise, the Pearl Outlet, Jasper (futurefashionista), etc, and ask what sort of a group deal they could do for you. I think you could easily get them all studs (if $150 is for total) to necklaces/bracelets each. Personally, I think they'd love if you got them gem quality bracelets, and I'm sure if you called for a group rate, you could get them pretty inexpensively (retail for freshadama bracelets are $125 each). You could even get the pearls to match the color scheme of the wedding (pink, blue, etc.)

Okay thanks for the feedback! I will check out Pandora.
I like coach and have no problems with it- it's just some of the girls spend a lot more on bags so I don't think they would use the wristlest. I love the mason pearson brush idea- although I am sure a couple of the girls would have no idea what it is... but that is always the fun part of gifts- getting something you would never buy yourself.
I agree that most of us love the packaging- which is why everyone loves those blue boxes!

since you're in nyc, this might work out for you. I recommend checking out www.lisadaniele.com. she hand makes her jewelry, and I've purchased several pieces from her personally. She's done bridal party gifts before so just let her know what your budget is and she can show you some examples of what can be done. She's very nice and sweet, so you might want to give her a try. She only uses top quality stones, and I love my earrings from her.

if your budget is around 100 for each girl, you could do a 'getting ready outfit' for them to wear when they get their makeup/hair done. a friend of mine did this and got them all victoria's secret pink sweats/sweatshirts. they looked so cute, and who doesnt love a 'lounge around the house' outfit?

Okay I love the bathrobe and getting ready outfit idea. Maybe I could do monogramed bathrobes since we will be going into the fall.

Randr21- Thanks for the suggestion I used to live by Roslyn on the UWS and loved their stuff. That was on my list of places to check out for jewelry- they just tend to be pricy but maybe going direct is a better option! Thanks everyone.

One of my friends got these as part of her gifts, a bridesmaid survival kit with a tote bag that says "Your presence is the greatest gift", and all kinds of fun stuff inside. It was super cute and really different than anything I've seen:
