My family gets water delivered each week from Fiji, evian, and arrowhead. We use the bottles for on the go, and for guests who don't like tap water.

I usually drink bottles water, but sometimes I drink the filtered tap.
EDT:
but unfilltered tap water is disgusting in California! It has this nasty aftertaste. Ew, no thanks.

We just recently stopped buying bottled water. We got a Culligan pitcher that filters our tap water. We each have our own reusable water bottles.

FWIW, DH carbonates 1-2 bottles per week, and the gas canister has lasted him ~1.5yrs. We'll probably have to swap it out for a new canister pretty soon though.

We drink tap water. We have a well and it taste so good. At work the tap water (city water) tastes weird. We have a water cooler with the big bottles of water. I drink that throughout the day. If I buy a bottle of water I prefer Fiji.

Please do some research and be informed.

You are correct. Also, (in LA and San Francisco)...our tap water has fluoride in it, which is found in toothpaste and as a result is good for your teeth. Whereas bottled water doesn't have this. I drink our tap water...no problems thus far.

I have a Brita filter and a Klean Kanteen stainless steel bottle. I try to avoid bottled water as much as I can, mainly for environmental reasons. Obviously, plastic bottles are bad for the environmental because they end up in landfills. But along with that, some brands of bottled water actually come straight from the tap anyways so you're paying for bottled tap water. Also, dangerous chemicals leach into the water from the plastic bottles and these chemicals have been linked to cancer. Have you ever left a bottle of water in your car and when you come back and take a drink, you notice that it tastes kind of off, like plastic? That's contaminated water and it's not good for your body.

A call to my local water company ascertained that my tap water is spring water, from a source shared by a spring water bottling plant.

I have been drinking bottled water for years - probably about 20 years or so. I hate the taste of tap water.

I ONLY drink Bottled water, we have a water company drop off the 5 gallon bottles every 2 weeks, I refill water bottles out of that so Im not spending a ton of $$ on water. I refuse to drink tap water in Vegas, its absolutely disgusting.

Im not prissy lol, dont get it twisted. When I visit my friend in Arkansas, I always drink the tap there, its quite good!
