Bottled water or tap water?

Majority of the time I normally drink filtered or boiled water.
Also bottled water, but sometimes I taste that plasticy slime taste in the more affordable brands.

i had a brita filter when i was in college... but a few years ago, my mom would buy me bulk packs of bottled water... and i've been drinking bottled water on a daily basis ever since.

I love the PUR filter that can be attached to the kitchen faucet.

I usually drink bottled water. I tried to filter it (used a pur water filter) and it tasted nasty. When I am in NY, I always drink tap water. It tastes much better than AZ water.

I guess whether or not you choose to drink the tap water depends on where you live, and the perceived quality of the water. I can never bring myself to drink straight tap....it has to be filtered somehow. So either a filtered pitcher, or water bottles work for me. Sometimes I prefer spring waters, and they taste very smooth in comparison., Especially that Fiji water.

I drink bottled water, but it makes me feel guilty so I recycle.

This is true.
In my city, for example, the water is filtered a few times and has a high standard and goes through multiple filters...whereas bottled water doesn't go by as strict of standards since they're regulated differently. I remember we had a guy from our water department in my city come in and give a huge talk about it a couple of years ago in my bio class. Here's a recent article/discussion about it, too:

I honestly never had a problem with tap water, always used to drink it, it tasted just fine. I just got used to drinking the filtered water from the fridge dispenser once we moved to where I am now and the water is so nice and cold, I drink it constantly when I'm home.

This is false.

EPA standards are much high for tap water than FDA standards are for bottled water.

Bottled water is huge drain on our natural resources, not to mention your personal finances.

Please do some research and be informed.

I only drink Poland Spring. Most other bottled water brands taste exactly the same as tap water to me.

The tap water is good here. But I drink mostly bottled water. I find that I drink more water when it's in a bottle.

I drink water straight from the tap, I only drink bottled water if I am travelling or out and about.

Tap water.. the water here in The Netherlands is very good.
