i just googled a pretty common phrase to get some inspiration on what to wear with my red chanel, expecting pages of nicole richie and mk olsen etc.
i was mortified to see myself on page three.
has anyone else noticed that with pics of your bags, or collections or what not?

I searched for the brands I buy and mine didn't come up. Probably just as well, because my photo skills are awful!

If i save the pix w/correct name, it'll show up too. Now I watermark everything :'(

i searched for one of my pictures and found it on page two, that's weird seeing my pictures on there. I'm going to search for more and see if any more of them come up

i found another one of mine on page two, i don't know if i like my pictures being on there like that, because it links to my photobucket album and i have lots of pictures on there, seems really unsafe, i might delete those pictures from my album.

mine link to photobucket too, but it's not public so i guess that means no one can look at my other stuff?

the files of the pics aren't called anything about chanel or purses... so is it the amount of views making it go so high up?

This is why I don't like it when I see young tPF gals posting pics of themselves here. I worry about them.

i have no idea what makes the pictures go up so high. Like yours mine wasn't labeled or anything. However i did go ahead and take all my photos down and delete my album. I went and looked up the same pictures and they still appear on google with links back to the pages they was on. Only now after you click on the google pictures they come up as xs. I had no idea google even had my pictures on there until i saw this and got curious. Had i have known my personal pictures was going to show up on google i'd never have uploaded them. In fact i don't have any pictures posted anywhere anymore, not even here because of that.

Hmm...that's really interesting! I have googled bags before and seen TPF pics, but didn't think anything of it since it wasn't me.

TPF search results always come up high on google, for pictures and regular search. I once searched for something general and a very personal thread I had posted came up as the #3 result on google. It makes me hesitant to post personal stuff on here because TPF is so popular.

You know, I think it'd be a good idea to make this site, like, a bit more private. :( It's scary how people can just come on and steal other people's pictures.

I wouldn't be surprised, especially for what SPOILEDkiwi said, if our own google searches result in tpf having a high ranking because we're here so much! I'll bet if you search on a general computer at a library or something, the results are not in the same order.
