We get at least 150+ kids. The funny thing is that people bring their kids to our neighborhood because of the big houses and think the people will be generous. They give one small tootsie roll or a tiny lollipop-you know the ones the size of a marble. It is kind of sad.....I go to the discount candy supply store and buy the full size candy bars and the kids are so sweet and happy to get them. This is the only neighborhood I lived in where the people were so cheap (they could well afford to hand out candy). In other neighborhoods I lived in the people would sit outside with tables and be dressed up and it was like one big party.....here if they could shut their lights off and make it look like they are not home they do it.

I live in a very popular neighborhood of Brooklyn that is considered well off. We also have a huge halloween parade every halloween night that not only brings neighborhood kids but kids from all over Brooklyn.

This year they have changed the route of the parade so it will be coming right by my house! We plan on being outside to hand out candy, we bought 45 lbs. of chocolate, we are expecting tons of kids!

I live in an apartment building so none.

My parents don't get that many, either. Usually they'll buy just one bag of candy

The last time I was living at home, on Halloween I had to go out and buy another bag, but that was only because we kept picking at the candy in the cauldron.

I live in the country and have a looong driveway. The only year we had some (all in one group) DH was under the house messing with the satellite TV cable and scared the hell out of them! I was not home...he told me about it later and I was mortified! He said he didn't do it on purpose...was just trying to tell them no one was gonna answer the door right now

I've had zero kids at my door for the past couple of years. My city has a festival downtown and that's where all the kids seem to be.

We got over 250 kids on our street last year, some years we've had more. Kids come in from the inner city to our neighborhod, I think it's tough in their own neighborhoods to have a proper Halloween and I LOVE IT!!! I love seeing the big mobs of kids and their parents keeping the tradition of trick or treat alive !!!!!

A little bit under 200 kids - there used to be more but it seems like parents are having halloween parties for their kids instead of going out trick or treating. Parents from not so good neighbourhoods would drive large group of kids and drop them off in our neighbourhood for trick or treating since it's a safe area.

We get 100+ kids. It helps that we live in a neighhborhood where the houses are close together and there isn't a long walk from the sidewalk to each house. Our neighbor across the street goes crazy for halloween. Super cool decorations. He is an engineer and has made his own animatronic skeletons and creatures that lift their head off or sit up out of coffins. So, his house being so well decorated is a draw for this kids too. Plus we put up some decorations ourselves, be we can't compete with the neighbor and his halloween extravaganza.

We will most likely get at least 300 kids. I see them in van loads, they bus them into this neighborhood, too. The strangest thing happened last year. Someone put up a sign with their address in the traffic circle "advertising" that they were giving away full size candy bars. I do not know those people, but they must be pretty competitive...sheesh!

About 400-500. I run out of candy every year and have to hide in the back of the house. Though I have to say that I think after 9 pm is a little late to be trick or treating.

We usually shut our lights off at 8pm. When Halloween is on a weeknight, I can't stay up any later because I get up between 3-4am in the morning, depending on whether I am working overtime or not.

Between 100-150. I make little treat bags for the kids and we ran out last year. This year I plan on making 200.
