We get no trick-or-treaters because we live in a rural area. But we take our kids to town to trick-or-treat, and we always bring bags of candy to friends in town for them to pass out because I feel bad about my kids getting candy but not handing any out! We just go down a few streets in town, and people indicate whether they are participating by having their porch light on. Our friends say they get about 50 trick-or-treaters each year. I wish we could hand out candy, though! I'd love to dress up to pass out candy and decorate our porch for trick-or-treat!

not very many at most 10-15, it's a small town, we used to get alot over here but now they mostly go over on the other side of town because a lot of people get together over there and do a lot of halloween things like haunted houses and so on.

We get lots! I usually buy 10-12 bags of candy. I start at the beginning of October and pick up a couple bags each week at the grocery store, so I'm not spending like $100 all at once on candy.

A few years ago I lived in a huge apartment complex and the property mgrs gave us paper pumpkins to clip on our doors if we wanted trick or treaters - good idea! However, I was hardly ever home.

Now I'm in a townhouse in a very small complex and we're on a dark side street which is not very well lit. Honestly, it's not the most kid friendly place and only one house here has a kid (she is just over a year old so too young to trick or treat, lol).

For some reason we get a ton of kids. It seems that some parents drive their kids to our neighborhood, because they pull up, let a bunch kids out, then pack them up and drive down a bit, let them out...
So last year I bought 3 bags of 100 small sized candy bars and we had about 45 left over.

Last year I lived in a development with a decent amount of kids. We left a basket of full-size candy bars sitting on our porch, with lights on.. unfortunately for my waistline, there was only 2 bars missing. i now live in a different location.. i will still leave full-size candy bars on my stoop, while i take my 2 year old trick or treating.... i hope more candy bars are missing this year!

We're currently at a different location, so I have no idea. I hope it's lots!

None, but I leave my porch light off.

My parents live nearby and when they have their light on they get a good bit, though no clue how many. But often it's truckloads of kids from other neighborhoods that drive around looking for houses and not kids from their immediate area.
