Anyone from Long Island here?

We go to the wineries usually twice a year w/ friends. Love it!! I just love living in Huntington - great restaurants and a fun town.

Same here! (Although with an infant, the only restaurant we get to these days is Canterbury's or Munday's.) No other town on LI quite like HV though!

I love Munday's! I used to get coffee there as an intern while working at Gary Ackerman's district office around the corner. Good times!

I go to school in Stony Brook, and my SO is originally from Poquot but lives in Setauket now.

Munday's is great w/ the kids! Hubby and I eat out every w/e - Besito, Black and Blue and Prime are our faves! So many great other places too!

Im from Farmingdale, used to be a Seaford girl!! I love Long Island, but rents not cheap and the traffic sucks.

My MIL has a house on Nassau Shores/Massapequa. We love to visit in the summer time - so cool w/ the canal access from her backyard. As a young boy, my (future) DH used to play with with a kid they called "Zander" back then - aka Alec Baldwin!

^^my grandpa used to coach baseball with his dad...he and his brothers played little league with my uncles :) how old is ur DF? i bet he went to high school with my fam :)

I live in Brooklyn now but I was raised on LI, East Meadow to be exact. I went to summer camp for many years in Farmingdale.

We have family who live in Plainview who we visit quite often.
