I am definitely getting bummed that winter is on its way. It's a matter of weeks before the first snow.

totally hate winter and cold. If I could have a constant rotation of fall, spring, and summer I'd be a happy camper.

The weather here in Seattle is pretty strange this year... usually it's cold and gloomy 24/7 around this time of year... However, it's been sunny a lot lately... even when they forecast rain, etc - the sun comes out that day. We've had a longer summer here this year...

Oh yes , absolutely . I really don`t like the winter season , it`s getting worse every year , hmm - maybe because Ì`m getting older ? Here in Norway it`s dark almost all day long and that`s the main reason to me feeling so tired and depressed (I think at least half of the Norwegian`s feel the same though, it`s a well known phenomenon.)

I can skip the whole winter thing as well. Have been like that since I was a child. The getting dark early thing sucks for me too. All my friends know that I pretty much go into hibernation mode this time of year. I think I drank 3-4 cups of hot chocolate yeterday and it is really only fall. As soon as it starts getting dark my body just wants to be in a warm bed.

Hopefully when my kids get out of school I can have a house in warm weather to go to during the winter. I told my daughter yesterday that I am moving to the equator.

I'm so sad for everyone's pain. I hate the cold. And I have always suffered through SAD syndrome for many, many years. Just going to a tanning booth for about 15 minutes about three times a week made me feel somewhat better, but we earthlings really need true sunlight every day. So, hubby and I moved to South Florida from the northern netherregions about eight years ago and now I just LOVE LOVE LOVE November because the humidity goes away and the sky is as blue as can be and the temperature is so pleasant, it truly is paradise. I never want to see grey skies or snow ever again. Ever.

i get insanely lazy once it gets colder. i just want to stay in bed all the time to keep warm. it sucks to wake up in the morning when it's still dark outside, drag myself out of bed, and head to school. the only thing that keeps me going is christmas and winter break!

i'm still sad that it's no longer flip flop and summer dress season.

Not yet. Fall is still very pretty here and the leaves have not fallen off to give that naked, barren look and we have yet to have Indian Summer. December everything looks so festive with decorations that the cold doesn't matter. It's jan/feb when it's time to go south

Ugly? Dry? Cold? xxx

It has come to my attention that you've never experienced the pure luxury that is the Servetta House in St. Morritz in the winter? Christian Lacroix monkey fur? Original Gianni Versace De Beers studded Egyptian Cottton bedding of Plaza Hotel condominium overlooking Central Park after snowfall? Armored advanced climate controlled Maybach 62 S motorcade safely steering Anna, super-stylist Panos Yiapanis, Andre Leon and I to the awaiting Versace Medusa monogrammed seats aboard my gassed up and ready Gulfstream at Teterboro en route to the serenity of my Parisian 7th Arrondissement private Parisian hôtel particulier (or private mansion, as you Americans say)? Sashaying down the Rive Gauche of the Seine River in Haute Couture as oversized Maison Martin Margiela sunglasses successfully shields our eyes from the the bright flashes of super-photographer Patrick Demarchelier and paparazzi alike? You've never experienced a true winter, sweetie. Fall/Winter is the most fabulous season and I'm not sure why you don't know that? Poor thing.

*Rolls eyes and orders manservant to unwrap just-delivered Fendi Noce Fume alligator trunks as I sample La Prairie skincare system while my live-in Costume Council certified curator heedfully grabs Jean Paul Gaultier Couture circa 1951 pieces for fall season*

Ciao
