Gees if you are a whore in training, I guess I am the assistant.

Sorry, but I am confessing that yes, I have committed such a crime. Not to up my post count, (which I thought passing 1000 posts was big for me), but by saying "congrats".

There are members who post their recent purchases and they are so excited and so happy and want to share their new found love, for crying out loud you should be able to share in their excitment. Even if that is a "congrats".

After a member has way exceeded their need to qualify for some other posting venue, I don't think they are bumping up their numbers. They are being nice.

Let them be happy.

When my puppy was so sick and I received short but compassionate "let us know" "keep us posted" "praying", seriously, did I take these precious messages with less importance or concern then others? Of course not. Every word, every post, even the number of who may have viewed/read my post were like hugs and special prayers for my boy.

I have read posts that I start to reply, but then I think I am too wordy or someone has posted what I was thinking and may have said it better than I would have. I may not follow through completing the post or just say congrats.

So I am sorry that I did not comment on your bag. I don't carry chanel and do not know much about the brand other than knowing it is very expensive and very established in the design world and watching Shirley MacLaine play Coco.

I am just not that into Chanel -

Gracious can we find something else to complain about?

Maybe we can use this thread to come up with some new words?

I saw "conga rats" somewhere the other day...how 'bout that? Might be a little distracting - one, two, three, fourfive, KICK but it's for the greater good.

Oh! No! I went backwards. In that thread, date 11-16-08, Vlad said I had 16,180 now I have 16,007!

Dang it Vlad! Stop cleaning up old threads faster than I can post! Off to visit some reveal threads....

TBH, I don't want people to think I am boosting my post counts, hence why I rarely post on reveal threads. I look around an awful lot and love peoples new purchases, but at the end of the day my 1 little "congrats" is somewhat insignificant. Yea, the OP may scroll through all of the pages, but only to see if there is a question, no one notes every poster and their comment and then thanks them individually for it.

What irritates me the most are the people who post 3 or 4 times in a row on a thread about the same topic or idea at the same time, and you can tell by the time that they could have edited their post to add their future thoughts, but they are clearly trying to up their post count so they just add another new comment. There are a few people who do this that I've noticed and for some reason it bugs the heck out of me! Just edit your original message!!!

In defense of those people that post 3 or 4 times in a row on a thread about the same topic at the same time....... I'm one of them, because I didn't even know until someone showed me recently, that you can edit your post! I've only had a computer for about 2 months, and I learn something new every day. My first posts were just typed words, THEN I discovered (by accident), the Icons. Now, I'm really having fun. Sorry, if my post after post in the same thread irritated anyone......I'll get the hang of it!
