I agree with your comment, because I think most people are Super Excited when they are doing a reveal and sometimes the area around it may be a little untidy BUT we should all try and just Celebrate the Bag and The Joy it brings People to show and tell :). That's just my opinion!

Oh, I agree 100%! I think we all do celebrate That's really the point of a reveal, right? Last night I was distracted by a lipgloss collection. It isn't always an untidy room that gets noticed. For example, if you were revealing a new bag and a cles or charm was attached, someone might notice, right? Well, if the bag is the focal point but there is a lot of other stuff going on, for me, it is hard not to notice.

If anybody can spend $2000 on a bag they surely can spend $100 at Target or Walmart on some storage solutions to replace those paper shopping bags.

I'm not aware of noticing what's in the background. I suppose it's because I'm only interested in the subject of the pic. I have never paid attention to it with any of the pics I've ever posted. Who would have thought it was such a concern for other people. Honestly, why would anyone care?

Is that what it's called? Gee, thanks for letting everyone here know how judgemental you are.
Everyone, please take note to make sure there is no mess, clutter or unnecessary items in the background of your pictures in future. Professionally staged pictures are preferred, or you'll be judged as having no self-respect.

ITA with both of you! I'm like geez if you don't take the time to stage a photo you have no self-respect? I hope I never get to the point where I care THAT much about what people on the internet think...

You're welcome! I don't have a problem with being judgmental; people who say they never make judgements about others are fools or liars.

It's pretty simple: do you go out of the house in filthy clothes or do you take the time to appear in public in a presentable fashion?

Same thing with your home.

The only difference is that whereas the neighbours might see you leave home looking like a bum in dirty clothes, the pix of your pigsty will stay up on the Internet for much, much longer.

And, let's face it, if you have 20 minutes to put your bag through some kind of photographic striptease, you got 20 minutes to clean your hovel.

Chill, folks. I didn't intend for this to get ugly. I was just wondering if I was the only one who noticed stuff in the background. Again, it doesn't HAVE to be filth; you can notice nice stuff too. And in some pictures, it seems impossible not to notice. Obviously this is exaggerated.

But this picture is what . . . a girl showing off her body? Lipstick? Shoes? Swimsuit? But . . . umm the elephant in the room . . .

^ Now, that is messy clutter that is hard to miss. I haven't seen any reveal pics on here that come even close to that. I get a headache just looking at all that chaos. I get the urge to find some hangers, get the vacuum cleaner...
I am going to pay more attention to the background of the pics people post here. Not for the "filth", mind you, just to see what other nice things I can spot.

I notice the background, but it doesn't really bother me one way or the other or distract me from the purpose of the photo. I personally prefer clutter to neatness, so if I were to notice anything it would be super neat rooms because they make me want to throw glitter all over the place haha

So true. Why include the filthy background when you can zoom in on the beautiful LV?

Yes, I said that was exaggerated. LOL! Last night (I need to go back and find the reveal), this girl's lipgloss collection was amazing. She must have had like 30 in a little container and then on top was a LV snowglobe thingie. Anyone know who I'm talking about? I wanted to ask to see them. That's what prompted me to ask this question.

Yes, I love looking at the backgrounds in pics on here. I might spot something else I like, and have to ask what brand it is or whatever...sometimes things in the background have started a whole other addiction for me. Kinda like the lip glosses you mentioned, Bag-a-holic23. Sometimes I see something in the background and I'm all "Ooo, pretty! Wait, what was I supposed to be looking at again?"

When it comes to my own photo's, yes, I am very careful about the backgrounds but when it comes to other's pictures, I rarely do.
