Default My First FENDI is here!!!!
Hi everyone, my first Fendi (a Chocolate Spy) arrived yesterday and I am thrilled. I have not taken pictures yet but I posted the link.

I am just a little concerned that people have fading/issues with these bags. When I was trying to find a bag to purchase I noticed a lot for sale that had very bad spots where the color had almost completely rubbed off. Has anyone had a similar experience? Is there something I can protect my bag with? I am sure there is a thread somewhere about this but I cannot find it :)

BTW...I am totally hoooked on the Fendi Spy and am already on the hunt for another. It is unbelievable how many fake Spys are out there, it must be the most knocked off bag around. Thanks to all the ladies who authenicated numerous bags for me

Gorgeous Bag! I just love Chocolate Spies! I love ALL spies tho! They are easy to get hooked on! I dont think I could ever have enough Spy bags, unless I had on in every style and color they came in!

About the fading....My choco spy is pretty used, but is still in great shape! There is some blushing, but it actually looks alright with it. I havent had any problems with fading. I do try my best to keep it out of direct sunlight just in case.

Great choice for your first Fendi! Whats the second spy your looking for?

Oooh! Congrats! I love my spies and chocolate is one of my favorites! I agree with Cleo. when I don't use them, I store them in the closet in their dustbags. Personally, I wouldnt' put anything on them. Sometimes, these leather conditioners have silicone in them which then affects the leather. I can't wait to see your next one! Congrats!

what a beauty! i owned a black spy once and i never had issues with the color rubbing off. my biggest problem with it was the spy pocket getting loose. enjoy your new bag!

Blushing is definitely an issue with my Spy.... I am waititng until my next visit to Sydney to find out what to do. I guess it needs treating...?

That is one stunning bag - congratulations!!! I just receiving my choc & zucca hobo this week. And have decided not the try protecting it. It is a current release one and there have been comments on here saying that the newer spy leather is treated already and should hold up better than the earlier ones did. At least I am trusting this opinion.
