Is this bag really leather?

It says bronze square embossed leather...

Let's try this again.... When I zoom into it on NM it looks like canvas but the descriptions says leather.

Does anyone have this bag? Is it leather?

Only the front flap and pieces on the bottom coming up are leather. So it's partially leather and the rest is some type of material. I have this bag in the Zucca print.

I feel like a dope, I 've seen these bags before but never really inspected the little squares that closely and cant really remember wheather or not they appreared to be leather or not. I see what you mean about them looking like canvas in the zoom, but even on the other styles with the same patterns the NM says it's square-embossed leather. You might try calling an actual Fendi Boutique and ask them if you want to know for sure.

I received the bag and it is going back. It looks like little pieces of leather have been glued on to canvas. Not sure it is going to last. But, it is so comfortable on the shoulder :-(

It's not leather from what I read before! I'm so sorry that it didn't work out for you. That's kind of a bummer. But better to return than be unhappy with a bag!

If it says embossed I highly doubt it would be little pieces of leather glued on to canvas.

Kav, if you take a close look at it, you can see the canvas underneath. It's like cheesecloth that had something glued onto it. I'm not sure what the material is, but it's definitely on canvas. That's why I got rid of mine. I can't imagine spending that much on a non-leather bag that didn't make my heart skip.

Oh sorry BL I meant the top flap. Aren't all the top flaps of the magic bags embossed leather (the croc looking ones, the regular ones etc)? Witht he exception of the full leather ones I think most of them have canvas on the bottom. I havent' seen this bag IRL so I wouldn't know.

The bulk of this bag is canvas. The top flap is leather and so is the handle. But, the rest of it almost looks like liquid leather was poured on canvas in a pattern to make it look like leather emobossing. Even though it was on sale, I can't keep it.
