Default Is This All There Is?

Hey Everyone,

So...I am in the market for a new bag and after seeing some real deal Spy bags, I have decided to look at Fendi again( I have a clutch and some other designer items)! My questions are about the spy and baby spy. Is this the same as the baulotto? Is there something that comes in between the baby spy and the regular humongous one? I love the way the baby spy looks but feel that it may look minuscule on my frame (5’7, size 16). However, I still prefer the baby, as it has the same "styling" of the spy but is a fresh take on the classic style!

After doing quite a bit of research, I am still confused on the issues I listed above and the sizes of the baby. I have seem some baby spys listed as 14 inches and others 13! If you could clear up my confusion and offer suggestions about where to purchase one (I love the tribal and the navy), it would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

There is a new baby spy for 2008:

But the one you refer to is the Baulotto Baby spy, if that isn't confusing enough. The variance in measurements has to do with where you measure. I took out my baulotto Baby spy and got 15" at the very widest point...so there ya go. Think they measure from the bottom.

I am the same size as you and no way the baby baulotto looks odd or small...in fact DH calls it the "normal size" spy bag.

They just came out with the New Baby Spy that BagLady linked aboved. It's a great alternative to the regular Spy if you want the look of the regular Spy with out the size. I havent seen it in real life so I cant really say too much about it.

The original baby Spy, the one you posted a picture of is a great bag. It's smaller than the original Spy but it still holds quite a bit. I wouldnt necessarily call it a small bag at all. I really dont think there would be a problem size wise for you. If you have the opportunity go down to your local Fendi retialer and try some on...that's always the best way to get a feel for them.

Good luck on youre Spy Search!

You guys are so sweet! Thanks for your help! I am not really close to a Fendi( being stuck out in MD and all) but I am going to head to northern VA to check them out soon!

How about the Fendi Hobo. I think it would be a great alternative for the two above! I love that size...

here you can see one:
