I think i saw a fake....

i was at my holiday luncheon and one of the ladies had a spy that just didn't feel right. it was brown.... not as dark as the chocolate with really dark handles. did fendi make that color combo spy?

No, cognac is a lighter brown spy, and it's handles are variegated shades of warm brown. Sounds like you spotted a fake to me.

I go to business school, and the classes are pretty big (500+ people) and a while back I ended up sitting next to a girl with a fake spy. I was carrying my petrol Spy at the time, and I'm pretty sure she realized that I knew hers was fake.
