Hello ladies!
My name is Jim and I have come to you all for your guidance. I am going to be proposing to my girlfriend Megan shortly and there is something specific I need to make it really special. Her favorite show is Sex in the City (of course) and in one episode there is a, in her words "pink sequin Fendi bag circa 1996". The bag to me, looks like a hot pink color and is very sparkly. It has the trademark F on the cover flap (sorry I don't know what the strap that secures it is called) and two mirrored Fs on the top. I have looked everywhere for this bag, I want to put the ring in it because I know it really will blow her away. I started my search since October and have not found anything close. I'm sorry I can't be more specific with the model or name I honestly have no clue. Whatever the means I really want to get the bag for her. The sequined baguettes, you might wish to locate one on eBay or similar "old stock" venue most likely....although there are some really nice new baguettes out this year also.

Hi Jim.
Like BL.1 said, the bag you're looking for is a Fendi baguette -- a simple, rectangular bag with a flap and the Fendi hardware. The limited baguette you seek is either 1) sequined 2) longer pailette sequins or 3) beaded. It came in all shades but the most vibrant ones were teal, purple and pink. It's a vintage bag, so you'll have to stalk eBay or vintage places. Does she want the exact bag, or something close? Like the style but in a different color?
