^You know what, that could be a possibility.... maybe? Or maybe too much of a coincidence?

That's what I figured happened! You know..switch and bait. How else could it happen right? But still the point is that Saks shouldn't allow that to happen!

Rbaby -- in this situation it does not seem to be the case. In fact we have reports of piles of these bags being sold by Saks off 5th....not just Fendis either!
In fact it is my understanding that some of the Original Designer Bag companies may have gotten involved when this was discovered...

I really hope you guys get this sorted out. I am disgusted hearing it.
Let's understand what these members and the expert Kavnadoo are saying: Sak's Fifth AVenue is selling fake Fendis. Hello!? These so-called experts on TPF, based on (someitmes) fuzzy photos, are declaring a bag fake, without touching it, etc. This is ridiculous. I have seen all sorts of websites attacked unfairly on TPF but this might be the worst (no, that's wrong: I did see a TPF expert attack the Gucci outlet --- owned by GUCCI mind you!) Let's see. . .if Gucci outlets are suspect, and Saks Fifth Avenue is suspect. . . .I guess there is NO way to purchase an authentic Gucci or Fendi. . . except, I guess, on eBay from Kavnadoo? Absurd.

Ok I'm glad he or she is banned because I was about to report that. Now maybe we can have some peace.

I second that. Just that we give an opinion based on our experiences with certain brands doesn't necessarily mean we want to destroy that website. The website that sells mixed or fakes have destroyed themselves when they started selling fakes!

Sigh there is a disclaimer on the site saying that opinions express in the authenticate this thread are not actual legitimate authentications. I have more faith in people though. I know people aren't stupid and most of them have a mind of their own and won't blindly believe everything. Back to topic!

Authentic retailers like Saks or eluxury wouldn't HAVE to put that ridiculous disclaimer. 'nuff said.

My bad! I meant on the Purse Forum, up the top and/or on the Authenticate This page.

Ohh yeah of course..I know there's a disclaimer on tpf...I thought you meant there was a disclaimer on another site..which would be pretty silly wouldn't it? Phew!

Well, I sent Saks customer relations a letter (via e-mail) a month ago explaining what happened with my bag, and asking what obligations they have to their customers who also bought these fake bags. I gave them until 10/20 to respond, and no word. I'm surprised they chose not to address this at all, not even a courtesy e-mail of "we'll look into it."
