Sadly, I now have the same reservations about regular Saks too. Julz, I asked Megs about doing the Sticky! and also maybe moving the thread to the main handbags section.

The people at Fendi aren't very knowledgeable of all of their products. If you purchased a bag at Off Saks, it's probably too old for some people to remember. Or maybe it's so old that it's not made the same way newer bags are made. Companies change the way their products are made from time to time. They switch manufacturers. Maybe your bag was made before the last switch. Most of the time, SA's don't know what the hell they're talking about. This doesn't only happen at Fendi. It happens at Balenciaga, Gucci, and etc.

OMG I can't believe Off Saks was selling Fake Fendi Bags. I have bought to Black leather Fendi bags from them, how will I know that it is real or not?

Take some pictures and post them here for Lit and baglady to take a look. That's how Julz and I found out ours were fakes.

This may be true, but Fendi has never made bags with shoddy construction and peeling holograms. Fakers make bags like this all the time, though. Our members did not rely solely on the opinion of one CSR at a Fendi store. We also have independent verification from an inside source that there was an investigation into Off 5th for selling fakes, and that the styles in question were pulled from shelves without explanation.

That's horrible! But I don't understand how this could have happened though....I mean, it's Saks....

yay! the more we can help the better!

and yes, I was talking to my mother about this today and she was asking me how Saks could sell these fake Fendi there and I told her, "mom, if you look at my old tags and my new ones, plus any authentic/fake tag next to each other you can see the difference!" I'm just glad I was directed to tPF...mwah!

OMG Ladies!!!! I was searching through my old papers and I found the receipt and tag!!!!

I don't know why I am so excited, but yeah. On the tag it says $459!!! I had the 30% off coupon which made mine $342!

You can barely read the receipt now, but should I still keep them or throw it away?

Keep it. We can use it as evidence later.

Yeah, I am keeping it, putting it in a safe spot, I dunno where I put the statements now...I need to look for them again! I think my Aunt said she wants to return her bag now too! I need to re-order them then...
