An update from me!

My Aunt who had bought a bag with me from the Cincinnati Saks Off 5th tried to return hers at the Cleveland Off 5th.

They tried saying that it could not be done since it was from there and that they didn't believe that the bag was a fake. I told them my story and what happened and they said that they would send the bag to Fendi headquarters and if found to be fake, the money would be refunded.

Well, a few weeks later what do I see but a credit on my Saks card. So even Fendi headquarters knows these bags are fake.

I urge anyone with a fake bag bought at Off 5th and a receipt for it to return and even let them send it to the headquarters if necessary!

Wow! Thanks for the info daloo...somehow I suspect that bag did not even make it to Fendi, probably somewhere at Saks, the truth is known...

Hey Ladies!

I got my money back from Saks Off 5th. Apparently, I kept my original receipt and all tags (even though they were detached) and the store manager was all too familiar with the case, so no argument on my part. The only thing I had to do was return the bag.

wow..just read the whole thread...what drama! I can't believe Saks. I had gotten a Fendi baguette from one of the outlets in texas (i think stafford) and thought it was fake. On a recent trip to Italy, I took it with me and had it checked by a friend whose mother works at a Fendi boutique. she said it was real even though my hologram came off. she told me there must have been fake bags at the outlets and then some that didn't pass quality control. i'm still not sure though

if the hologram came off, that is a serious problem. You should post pics for us to look at.

I am so shocked by this whole tread! I will NEVER buy a bag or anything for that matter at off 5th.
