Wow. I just read this thread from beginning to end. It sucks to hear that Off 5th was selling fake bags, and I'm happy that you guys got your money back.
I'm also eagerly anticipating a proper response from Saks and any further action you plan on taking.

Hi... I bought an item at off 5th, its stated in their receipt " OFF 5th Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet ". Is this store different from what Daloo3ajulz is referring to? ( I'm from Asia ). Just want to know so that I'll know next time if they are selling fakes. Thanks !

Just saw your question. It's the same store, Off 5th is the outlet for Saks Fifth Avenue.

Two weeks ago I went to Off Saks at sawgrass mills in Ft Lauderdale. I saw a couple of Prada handbags which I swear are fakes. Beware ladies and sorry for my english!

I just finished reading this thread...and I'm completely shocked! This is such a disappointment... I was planning on visiting the closest Off 5th outlet across the border, just to check it out and see if there was anything that struck my fancy.. but now I'm not so sure? Anyone been to the Off 5th in Buffalo/Niagara Falls??

I'm totally shocked too. I bought my Fendi baguette back in 2003 at Off 5th so I thought for sure it was authentic without a doubt. Now, it's questionable and being authenticated.

I'm totally furious. Baglady, what should I do now. Since it was purchased in 2003, what recourse do I have? Luckily, I still have the Off 5th tag showing BR8000, which matches one of the Fendi cards. If I talk to the manager at Off 5th where I purchased this bag, would he/she know what I'll be complaining about?

BP - you can always try, but if you read this thread in completion, it sounds like Saks doesn't take action unless they are really pushed, and then they don't admit to it....I personally have heard that FENDI actually did apply some pressure at the top level's of Saks because of what they were doing....pretty SAD!

Thanks Baglady. I'll go back and read this thread more carefully from beginning to end. Still, I'm going to voice it to Off 5th and perhaps bring this to Fendi's attention again. I'm not concerned about the money, just want them to know I'm furious that they sold me a fake.

Ok, what else at Off 5th is fake, aside from Chloe, Fendi, and Prada? What about Burberry, Ferragamo, Coach, and Kate Spade? I'm so stunned right now. I just told DH about what I just learned, and he is mad.

BP - I personally don't have access to a Saks off 5th (live in Nordies Country), but everything I have heard leads me to believe it was primarily the textile Pradas & Fendis...not sure about anything else. I hope they aren't selling any more, but don't know for sure...
