super soft. definitely glove like. and lightweight. it's not heavy at all. :-)

the only heavy part is the magnetic buckle.

Thanks for all the pics. I am pretty sure it is a real, from 2004 season. Glove soft is the feel of the Nappa (Lamb) leather on these sorts of pieces. It is a rare find, I have never seen this in red. Big congrats!

the lady i purchased it from never used it. it just sat in it's dustbag and i am not the most careful person in the world and i guess that is another reason why i haven't used it yet myself. it's so soft...like nothing i ever felt before and i am scared that it will get messed up.

any help to ease my mind that i could in fact carry this bag and not just have it sit in my closet would be great! thank you once again!!!

While I wouldn't abuse the bag, it should OK for normal usage and be resilient & soften up even more. Fendi uses a lot of the Nappa leather, especially in their Spy Bags & many other pieces. Enjoy!

hi, do all fendi bags come with the holographic stickers in the bag? i just bought a fendi chef bag, model # 8br353 from a lady i purchased a real fendi from before. there is only a slip pocket inside the bag and no interior zippered pocket. the serial number tag is located on the left hand side of the bag when you open it up facing you. the model number 8br353 is on the serial leather tag but nothing on the opposite side of the bag. no hologram.

am i missing it???

it's strange because i purchased an authentic vuitton from her as well which was also authenticated here on purseforum lv subforum and passed as authentic.

i'm freaking out. help!!!

i was so distraught, i left the bag at my mom's house. i contacted the seller and they were so wonderfully gracious and said they would return my money but if it's authentic, i'd like to keep it. they said they purchased this bag at the fendi factory right outside of florence along with the other bag i purchased from them that was authenticated.

anyway, i will get these pictures taken and will send them your way.

Well, the reason why I asked to see the leather serial strip was because Fendi did, at one point, have bags with just the leather serial strip and no hologram (for a very short period of time)...so we needed to see the leather serial strip to confirm if it indeed was one of those bags...
